
Arkas Trio will warm you up in the new year with winter concerts. The first of the concert series is scheduled to take place on February 27 at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Centre for the benefit of EVEV, while the second series of the concert will take place on February 28 in Ayvalik for the benefit of AIMA. The Arkas Trio will be playing their own versions of J. N. Hummel, L. v. Beethoven and A. Piazzolla at the concerts.
Adopting the principle of involving itself in unusual and themed projects, Arkas Trio sees it as its social responsibility to keep working to increase interest in classical music with its wide repertoire by staying firm to its root values.
In this context, Arkas Trio whose members are violinist Tuncay Yilmaz, pianist Emre Elivar, and German cellist Gustav Rivinius, will be performing for music enthusiasts at its first series of concerts for 2020.
Following the concert on Wednesday, February 27 at the Great Hall of the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Centre for the benefit of ECEV, Arkas Trio’s next stop will be the Ayvalik International Music Academy (AIMA) on Thursday, February 28. Music enthusiasts will savour one of the best forms of music with two concerts that will warm the cockles of their hearts.
At both concerts, Arkas Trio will be playing J. N. Hummel – Mi bemol Major Trio, op. 12, L. v. Beethoven – Do minor Trio, op. 1 No. A. Piazzolla – Tangolar- Oblivion- Chiquillin de Bachin- Otoño Porteño.
