Initiated by Arkas Academy last year to produce leaders with a common vision, the program “Those who shape the future” provided promising candidates with training on Self-Leadership, Team Leadership and Job Leadership. The program continues with a new set of courses. A part of the Leadership Program and organized for executive level staff, the “We need candidates” training course focuses on the best ways for getting to know candidates through a fresh perspective not tainted by prejudices and bias. This training aims at creating a more efficient recruiting process.

Champions of A-Live 2019 announced
Introduced as an innovative platform to promote professional growth and motivation that offers social learning, learning through games, task descriptions and suggestions on books and movies as further training reference material, A-Live has new champions for 2019. Outstanding employees who had one hundred Arkas coins deposited to their accounts at the beginning of the year will spend those coins on courses of their choosing throughout the year. Also, employees earn points each time they log into the platform, post progress on social learning, do training on time, read articles/books, watch videos and fill out the training assessment form. Arkas employees who scored the most points last year are being awarded. Cem Deris, the winner of 2019, won a plane ticket to Europe; Baris Alkan, the second-place winner, won a discount for hotel stays and Recep Ertas, who came third, won a plane ticket to domestic locations. Arkas Tourism sponsored the awards for the winners.
