Still Arser, a German forklift manufacturer, presented a battery-powered forklift as a gift to Cukurova Racing team founded by the students of the Department of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering at Cukurova University. The team will race in the Spanish “Castelloli Racetrack” on July 15.
Still Arser, one of the leading global forklift manufacturers which has been conducting business in Turkey with the partnership of Arkas Holding since 2013, also supports the youth.
Adamer Is Makineleri, a Still-Arser dealer that supports Cukurova Racing team founded by the students of Cukurova University in 2016 in this long marathon, presented a battery-powered forklift as a gift to the team, whose silver-stage sponsorship was undertaken by Adamer Is Makineleri, for using in hangars and warehouses.
The team raced in Formula Student Italy in 2017 and 2018. It will also represent Turkey in Formula Student Andorra to be held in Barcelona in 2019. The team aims to start test drives after preparing the vehicle on April 10 at the latest. Still Arser will be represented in this global race with its logo on the vehicle.
Cukurova Racing team, which was heard first after ranking third in the hydro-mobile category of TUBITAK, aims to compete in international contests by producing formula style electrical cars. The students produce top quality cars with the lowest cost possible. They design cars that are eligible to compete in the Formula Student contest held by The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
