Maintaining its growth with new brands, Arkas Automotive opened a fourth facility in Izmir, introducing the France-based Groupe PSA’s Peugeot brand to consumers in Karsiyaka.
Arkas Automotive serves as a dealer of Volvo, Ford and Opel under the umbrella of Arkas Holding, adding to its growth while successfully carrying out the sales, service and second-hand operations of those three brands in four different Turkish cities.
The last time Arkas Automotive was a dealer of Peugeot was in 2014 and, after break of a few years, it again completed an agreement with the 200-year-old automotive giant. Following the second-hand services, as well as the Opel and Ford stores in Izmir, Arkas Automotive has now shaken hands with Peugeot and presented Peugeot 208 HB, 301, 308 and SUV 3008 models for the approval of consumers in its (3000 sq m) showroom in the Karsiyaka store – its fourth facility.
Arkas Automotive Karsiyaka Branch Manager Erhan Ozbiler made a statement in which he said that the company aims to sell 700 vehicles for the first year and continued: “We preferred Peugeot because it is an eco-friendly and affordable brand favoured by consumers. The fact that both brands have known each other for years further strengthens their cooperation when it comes to coordination and trust. I believe that our cooperation will increasingly continue. The automotive industry is on the decline by about 50% compared to the previous year. Peugeot, however, continues to increase its market share with each passing day under such negative market conditions. With Arkas Automotive’s customer satisfaction-focused service understanding, which has been maintained for many years getting together with Peugeot’s brand value, we will meet all the sales and service requirements of the brand throughout Izmir.”
Arkas Automotive which has authorised sales and service shops in Izmir, Bursa, Istanbul and Ankara was repeatedly named the Best Authorised Seller, Best Dealer and Best Service Shop by the brands it represents, namely, Volvo, Opel and Ford.
