
Kristal Oil, founded in 1938 by Anthony Micaleff in Izmir, today offers high-quality olive oil to consumers by combining 80 years of know-how with cutting-edge technology. Kristal Oil produces and packages its products without human contact at its modern refinery and filling facility established on an area of 20,000 m2 in Bornova. Presenting olive oil in quality cans and glass bottles, the healthiest way of preserving olive oil, Kristal Oil has been committed to product quality for generations.
Pressed at the company’s facilities in Ayvalik before being transported to the Kristal factory in Izmir, extra-virgin olive oil is left to rest and then separated from its dregs using cloth filters. The filtered extra virgin olive oil is stored in separate tanks, and thanks to the sensory and chemical analyses carried out by the tasting team and the laboratory, the authentic flavour of Kristal oil is captured and preserved throughout the year.
After the analysis, the oil is put in quality cans and glass bottles on six different lines at the filling facility, which is the final destination on the olive oil’s production journey.
